Andrew Hopkins Picks Up The Win In The Late Model Sportsman With First Time Winners Nick Brown and Michael Valdez At East Bay Raceway Park

GIBSONTON — At East Bay Raceway it was Nick Brown picking up the win for the make-up race in the V8 Warriors and Forrest Gough in the Late Model Sportsman make-up race. Winning in the other feature events were Cliff Evans in the Micro Sprints, Austin Sanders in the Gagel’s Open Wheel Modifieds, Michael Valdez in the V8 Warriors second feature, Andrew Hopkins in the Late Model Sportsman second feature and Robert Gullett, Sr. in the 4 Cylinder Bombers feature.

In the Micro Spints 15-lap feature it was Cliff Evans picking up another feature win over second place and brother Wade Evans while Dylan Varn picked up third.

In the Gagel’s Open Wheel Modifieds 15-lap feature it was Austin Sanders picking up his second win of the year over second place Roger Crouse and third place Eric Moon.

In the 15-lap make-up feature for the V8 Warriors it was Nick Brown picking up his very first feature win with George Handy second and Jason Burnside third. In the second feature it was Kentuckian Michael Valdez picking up his very first feature win with James Warden second and Nick Brown third.

In the 15-lap Late Model Sportsman make-up feature it was Forrest Gough picking up the win over second place Jason Pope and third place Roger Crouse. In the second feature it was Andrew Hopkins taking the checkered flag over second place Jason Pope and third place Tommy Hill.

In the final feature of the night it was the 15-lap 4 Cylinder Bombers and it was Robert Gullett, Sr. picking up the win over second place DJ Taylor and third place going to Thomas Adams.

Action continues this Saturday July 15th with the Late Models running double features, Q Auto & Injury Attorneys Sprints, Hobby Stocks, Florida Old Time Modifieds and the 4 Cylinder Bombers who will be also running double features.
