2017 TIRE RULE AMMENDMENT & CLARIFICATION
JUNE 6, 2017

Late Models
Hoosier D-21, D-55, D-70 or DR/HTS-1600 only.
Grooving, Siping or needling allowed on all except DR/HTS-1600.
No Grooving, Siping or needling on DR/HTS-1600.

Late Model Sportsman
Hoosier D-55 or DR/HTS-1600 only.
No grooving, siping or needling of DR/HTS-1600.
Siping only on D-55.

Open Wheel Modifieds
Hoosier A-40, A-40S, H-40, Medium, Hard, M-30S or M-60S. 26.5/8.0-15 or 27.5/8.0-15 only.
Grooving, siping and needling will be allowed for the remainder of the 2017 season.
For the 2018 season, we will follow the UMP guidelines strictly.

Hobby Stock & V-8 Warrior
Hoosier H-500 only.
NO grooving, siping or needling allowed.
Outlaw Four
Hoosier 400 only.
Grooving, siping or needling allowed.

ALL CLASSES
NO grinding, removal, changing or covering of factory markings or date codes on tire sidewalls.
NO CHEMICAL TREATMENT OF ANY KIND ON ANY TIRE. ALL TIRES IN ALL CLASSES ARE SUBJECT TO INSPECTION AND POSSIBLE SAMPLES OF TIRE SENT TO BLUE RIDGE LAB FOR ANALYSIS.
ALL CLASSES HAVE THE $125 PROTEST RULE FOR SAMPLING OF TIRES. Any tire protest must follow East Bay Raceway Park protest guidelines.
